Dragon Boat Race Update

 Pugh & Company, PC participated in its first ever Dragon Boat Race Festival (www.racedragonboats.com) on June 25, 2011.  The event is held at the cove at Concord Park to benefit Knox Area Rescue Ministries.  The Pugh Paddlers competed in the financial division and won its first heat with a time of 1:07.984.  A time of 1:09.035 in the second heat earned a second place finish in the heat, but was good enough to earn the fastest average time of the two heats in the financial division sending Pugh & Company home with the trophy.  P&C employees who participated in the races were Aaron O’Dell, Anne Marie Rogers, Ashley Ogle, Ashley Rookard, Barron Kennedy, Chris Feild, Curtis Minhinnett, Heather Patrick, Jim Pugh, Justin Irick, Kim Young (co-captain) Kristi Mikles, Kristi Free, Kristin Garrett, Lisa LaForlette, Michael Newport, Mike Heffner, Sean Brewer (co-captain) and Wes Montgomery.
